We accept films from all over the world, from emerging filmmakers and international ones. The main criterion for participating in the festival is artistic criteria and merits. Considering Filmmaker Life´s tremendous importance in the American cinematic environment and our professional platform, we hope to provide a suitable environment for the introduction of short films and feature films.

Submissions DO NOT guarantee selection.

-All international films MUST have English subtitles if in another language.

-Official Selections will be announced on the website, social media and partners.

We are mainly looking for: Feature Film, Short Films, Documentaries, TV/Web-Series, Series Pilots, Student Films, Animations, Trailers, Music Videos, Produced and Unproduced Scripts, Commercials, Experimental Films, Professional Mobile Films and Disruptive formats as Portrait Orientation.

We accept films of any genre, length and language.

Any genre and any length of film will be considered

WE DO NOT ACCEPT 1. Amateur videos. 2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations. 3. Pornography. 4. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 1080p HD). 5. We don’t accept excerpts/scenes from films: you must submit the entire film.

By submitting your film, take note that: Filmmaker Life is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film submitted for promotional purposes. Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be submitted to multiple categories. Winning categories vary depending on the submissions we receive. If the administration thinks the categories submitted are not to a standard of the Filmmaker Life win, they will be removed. The Competition reserves the right to refuse entries and the Jury can remove a movie from the competition at any time. Entry fees are non-refundable.

The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for possible screening (private and/or public) and understands and accepts these requirements, rules and regulations. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Filmmaker Life, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss or damage of the screening videos entered.

Note: any DISCOUNT CODES ARE NOT VALID for the purchase of trophies at “FilmFreeway”. DISCOUNTS CODES ARE VALID, ONLY for submit films at the festival. If there is a trophy purchased at “FilmFreeway” with a discount code, that purchase will be CANCELED. – Remember that payments are not refundable.
